Yannik Brandt wants to finish on a Top-Ten position

Final Races of ADAC Formula 4 at Hockenheim

Next weekend at tradition-rich Hockenheimring, there will be the final round of the ADAC Formula 4. For Yannik Brandt it is like a little home game. The protege of Team Lechner wants to make a big step in his development and aims to reach a Top-Ten position during the final races.

After a very long break with an amount of six weeks the ADAC Formula 4 travels to Baden-Württemberg. The 4,574 kilometers long Hockenheimring is the setting for the last races this year. For Yannik Brandt it is simultaneously the end of his season as a rookie.

“It all passed so quickly this year. I still remember my debut at Oschersleben. During the last 21 races I have learned a lot and want to make another step forward“, states the fifteen years old driver from Germany. He goes on saying: “Now at Hockenheim I feel a little bit like I am home. From Swiss to Hockenheim is the nearest trip for me. “

During the second season-half the young German passed a quick and successful development. At Spielberg and the Nürburgring he finds himself on a good midfield-position. After lot´s of points for the rookie-results, the youngest participant of ADAC Formula 4 this season now wants to get some points for the final results. „My goal is to finish under the best ten drivers. It would be a great success for me as a rookie. I know that I am able to reach it and feel well-prepared for the final races“, so Yannik.

On friday there will be the first clash during the qualifying, where Yannik wants to get a good starting position for the first two races on saturday. These two sessions and also the final on sunday will be broadcast live on TV. The German sports channel Sport 1 and the stream on the internet www.sport1.de are responsible for the live images. The races on Saturday will start at 11.55 h and 15.30 h. The big final on Sunday takes part at 14.55 h.
